Butchart Gardens
Fifty-five acres of wonderful floral display are open to the public, offering spectacular views from the many paths that meander through the four main gardens. The Butchart family's commitment to horticulture and hospitality spans almost 100 years, and continues to delight visitors from all over the world. From the exquisite Sunken Garden to the charming Rose Garden, the gracious traditions of the past are still maintained in one of the loveliest corners in the world.

Classic Boat Festival
Whether you are a local resident or are visiting from out of town, we invite you to come to the Inner Harbour and enjoy the sights and sounds of this celebration of our maritime heritage. There is no charge to view the vessels in the Festival and a number of boaters graciously allow members of the public onboard to view their vessels close up.

Crystal Garden Conservation Centre
Welcome to the Crystal Garden Conservation Centre online! The Crystal Garden Conservation Centre is a wondrous world of sites and discoveries including: the world's smallest monkeys; over 65 species of endangered birds and mammals; hundreds of tropical plants and vibrant blossoms; and dozens of species of exotic butterflies. Along your journey, you will also find fascinating information about everything you see, so please visit us and have fun!

Symphony Splash, Victoria's Best Event
The Symphony Splash is almost certainly Victoria's most popular event. Approximately 40,000 people crowd the inner harbour during the August long weekend to hear a mixture of pops and classics played by the Victoria Symphony.

The ICA Folkfest
The ICA FolkFest is Victoria's premiere and longest running Inter-Cultural Arts Festival. With an annual attendance of over 150,000, the festival is the single largest outdoor event on Vancouver Island. Victoria's Inter-Cultural Arts Festival is proudly presented by the Inter-Cultural Association (ICA) and produced by TNT Productions Inc.

Victoria Dragon Boat Festival
The dragon boat races and other festive cultural activities will unfold in Victoria's stunning Inner Harbour, a bright anchorage around which the city curls like a sleeping dragon. As the Inner Harbour is the heart of Victoria's downtown civic life, many restaurants, hotels, and shops are clustered nearby.

Victoria International Improv Festival
The Impromaniacs, Victoria's original Improv troupe, are pleased to announce a sequel to the incredibly successful Victoria International Improv Festival. The venue for the festival will be the same as last year, St. Ann's Academy, 835 Humboldt Street. Once again the former convent will be filled with the sounds of laughter. And we do mean filled - last year's shows were nearly sold out.
